Here's something cool to get excited about:
I organise the Wellington edition of Loop de Loop and the next one is Thursday April 9th! Doors are at 7 and the screening starts at 7:15
It's koha entry to go to the screening!
Loop de loop is a monthly animation challenge that started in Melbourne in 2011 and has been going since!
Something like 100 of the best loops each month get screened in a few Australian cities and now Wellington, Auckland and Invercargill too!
I also urge you to enter your own animation to be screened too!
- There's a Discord server
- The last day of each month is the deadline
- It must be made by you. No copyrighted imagery or sound
- Suit the current theme - HOT.
- No pornographic, hateful, defamatory or discriminatory content.
- It has to loop!
It can be a gif, or a vimeo link. The loopdeloop team will rip it from there for the screening
Some of the info on there is a bit out of date but don't let that catch you out!

Just be sure to include these things when you send your loop:
- A sentence description or tag line for your loop.
- Your Name, Your City, Country
- A link to more of your work
- Your email
- A link to a high quality render of your file (on vimeo is good)
